Benin, located in the tropical zone, is particularly vulnerable to multiple natural and human-induced hazards: floods, fires, epidemics, coastal erosion, and population displacement. In light of these increasing risks, strengthening Civil Protection is a strategic priority to improve disaster management and support climate change adaptation.
