crisis response
Facing crisis?
TDS accompanies and advises in various degraded environments to help international organizations and NGOs provide assistance.
A challenging world
With more than 100 million people affected by natural disasters in 2016 alone and more than 65.6 million people worldwide having been forced to flee their homes, the need for humanitarian assistance is growing around the world. Driven by serious ethnic and political issues, religious
conflicts as well as extreme weather events caused by climate change, these populations require tailored and contextualized emergency assistance.
Whether it’s human effectiveness, coordination, communication, safety, perception, transparency,
etc., these are the issues that need to be addressed.
No matter how experienced an organization is, how well the team is trained, how well the tools are adapted, the difference between a successful response and a less successful response is a very fine line. The transition to a medium- to long-term type of response is just as difficult.
Our involvement
TDS provides quality services while measuring its impact. We are committed to putting beneficiaries first through their approval, offering flexible, practical and appropriate solutions, and creating long-term participatory change.
We work on developing know-how and better distribution in order to obtain a better management of the available resources.
Our TDS referent
The key to a successful response lies in the ability to adapt, to contextualize all previously acquired experiences, to a new situation that is unfolding. It’s more about the ability to question one’s own experience and knowledge rather than certainties about how things should be done.
